Lately, I have been attempting to make some extra money online by filling out surveys. I have tried several sites including Greenfield and Survey Spot that promise big payouts, but almost always enter you into a draw for cash giveaway, which means you’re entering a lottery where few people will win….no guarantee of rewards.

I decided to try AWSurvey.com as the concept was much more attractive than the others. Instead of long drawn out surveys, you simply give a short evaluation of 2 websites at a time for a $4 payment. Membership is free and there is a $6 bonus just for joining. There is a referral programme that pays $1.25 for each person you refer that joins free. In my first session, I netted $27.

There is a great debate on the web as to whether this is a scam. Some people boast of getting paid promptly, some say they have problems getting paid, but almost every online survey with cash payout that I have seen, is treated with some suspicion. This article gave me some encouragement and I thought, well, I didn’t pay anything for joining and my input is only my time, which would be spent unproductively on some social networking site anyway.

here are over thousands of PTC and PTR programs which catch your attention by promising big amounts of earnings to you. However when the time comes to cashout, most will not pay you. So for your convenience and so that you don't get caught in their web, listed below are the list of such programs that do not pay. I will keep updating the list frequently. If you find one that is not listed, please PM me and I will add it.

Pay per click (PPC) is an Internet advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites, such as blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an advertisement to visit the advertisers' website. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. When a user types a keyword query matching an advertiser's keyword list, or views a webpage with relevant content, the advertisements may be displayed. Such advertisements are called a sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to or above the "natural" or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster or blogger chooses on a content page. Content websites commonly charge a fixed price for a click rather than use a bidding mechanism.

Although many PPC providers exist, Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and Microsoft adCenter are the largest network operators as of 2007. Minimum prices per click, often referred to as costs per click (CPC), vary depending on the search engine and the level of competition for a particular phrase or keyword list—with some CPCs as low as US$0.01. Very popular search terms can cost much more on popular search engines. The PPC advertising model is open to abuse through click fraud, although Google and other search engines have implemented automated systems to guard against abusive clicks by competitors or corrupt webmasters.
